KENNEDY SPACE CENTER — Shuttle Atlantis will take a 2-mile-per-hour trek on over to its new home at Kennedy Space Center on Nov. 2.

The orbiter, currently located in the Vehicle Assembly Building area of NASA property, will start its journey at 7 am and roll into this building in the late afternoon.

Tickets are available at Kennedy Space Center for viewing of this historic event.

Atlantis will be protected in bubble wrap as construction on its building continues. The Atlantis exhibition at Kennedy Space Center will officially open in July of next year.
