LA JOLLA –– You could say radio personality Richard Muscio is a modern-day ‘Women’s Libber.’
During a book signing at Warwick’s in La Jolla, the colorful father, radio host and author, said his days as scrapbook-keeper for tennis legend Bobby Riggs opened his eyes to the issue of gender inequality.
His work, “So, What’s Your Play? How Billie Jean, Bobby and Blindness Begat Tolerance” is a fun romp through the emerging days of women’s rights as detailed through events in Riggs’ life.
Much of Muscio’s work has been documented over the years in reference to the famous “Battle of the Sexes” tennis match between Riggs and Billie Jean King seen by 10 million TV viewers more than 40 years ago. READ MORE HERE
