The PMCU O’side Turkey Trot attracted 10,000 runners and their families on Thanksgiving 2013.

The race, which enters its ninth year in North San Diego County in 2014 is poised to continue tremendous growth, fueled by steady population increases in Southern California, and corporate and government health initiatives and programs.

Kinane Events is a Carlsbad, Calif.-based company, whose founder, Kathy Kinane is a leader in sports marketing. Kinane, a former UC-Santa Barbara Track and Cross Country coach, is active in women’s sports networking and has been consistently named among the top race directors in the U.S.
